The church has told me many time through my life (53 years) that these books are not scripture but history tells another story. These books were at one time part of the Canon of the Bible and were removed at one time or another in history of the church for one stupid reason after another. He taught Hebrew and Koine Greek to Bible College students and has been retired for over fifteen years.
