It is based on a true story, although some of it I am sure is the author's idea of how things might have happened. It appears that the author did quite a bit of research on the culture and the historical period; I think that all the historical details about ancient Roman and the early church|About the Author|Peterson studied history at Wheaton College, Illinois. Born in California during the Jesus Movement, her first years were spent in Christian communal houses. She is the author relations manager for Moody Publishers in Chicago.
