It does add much more detail than Genisus and on occasion uses the same kind of exaggerative descriptives that are seen in other ancient writings. The Sefer haYashar (first edition 1552) is a Hebrew midrash also known as the Toledot Adam and Dibre ha-Yamim be-'Aruk.
